Twas the night before Christmas, all Gotham was silent, not a criminal to be found being naughty or violent. The children were asleep and all tucked in their beds, while visions of Robin the boy wonder danced in their heads. With Robin asleep the dark Knight took a flight, to the cold, and dark shadows near the glimmering street lights.
There he saw a woman so beautiful and fair, his beloved catwoman, caught up in the air. Yet his tone was unchanged, cold, and indifferent, not a salt's pinch of warmth could cause him to feel different. But as he called, over she came to the man like a bat calling her name. So shapely she slinked with such grace and agility, and over she came to the best of her ability. She moved like a goose wanting to cut loose with ol Ebenezer Bruce, but alas it would seem the old miser wouldn't move, he was stuck like a spruce that was hung in a noose, and could never get loose.
She tried and she tried, the catwoman did, to make him feel happy all over again. Until finally it happened her charm did rekindle, a smirk or a smile but quickly did dwindle. With a kiss on his cheek he was glad at their meet, and was enough for him to then take to the street. So, for now our tale must come to an end, with yule tide greetings that will come once again, when all will be safe and all will be silent, On Gotham's dark streets during this time of no violence.
