If you read the artist comment I took the time to write, I wrote, Here is Morgoth and "HIS" servant ( I am talking about Sauron here because there is no one else in the picture I made aside from Morgoth), a former Maiar of Aulë. If you read the Silmarillion you will find that Sauron acctually is Melkor's servant, and yes he does learn from Melkor so he is also his apprentice. That's why I wrote the the word" his" in there to differentiate between the characters and to show ownership between Morgoth and "his servant". So the comment clearly states Sauron as someone other than morgoth. At least it made sense to me.

Oh wow, this is amazing. The Valar in my mind have always been somewhat blurry, because I didn't quite know how to imagine them, but this surpasses any ideas. 100% true~

hehe even though he is a corrupt Evil valar :) I did have an idea to do a piece with Manwe Ulmo and Aule as well but I never got around to it. I was writing a film script adaptation to the Silmarillion when I made this wallpaper. but that's been a while ago.

:) yeah, I've noticed the date on the picture. But Ulmo... To me he's always seemed to be the most mysterious of them all, despite Mandos being the lord of his "after life halls", I think Ulmo has always intrigued me the most :)

Hmm well I always liked water but he seemed too much like Neptune or Poseidon, So to me I always prefered Manwe because he was the Lord of the air and all things that fly. Flying has always been a dream of mine. I have always loved the feeling of freedom when flying. so I gotta go with him but Ulmo I see as being very powerfull because water is an incredibly powerfull force. Living on the Gulf coast I've seen the destructive power of water durring hurricanes hehe.

Oh, I never thought of it that way. My short-sightedness only relished the fact that Ulmo didn't have a spouse and therefore, he seemed mysterious. Though now, when you said it... true, Manwe is the paragon of boundless freedom.

Ah... it's the tale about Turin and Nienor, right? I'm kinda outdated on Tolkien's work, because only LOTR is translated into my language and the rest I have to read in English and... well, it's not bothersome, but takes more time...

I believe you are right. I haven't read it yet though. Well aside from the Silmarillion which is like an overview of the whole history of middle earth there isnt much that is new. this is just a story that is told in the silmarillion that is expanded on and turned into a narrative if Im not mistaken. but still it looks like it would be a good book.

AWSOME! I always figured Morgoth would be the taller but I do have a problem with not being able to see the Sillmarils. And for some reason pretty much everybody draws Morgoth with a full face plate/mask/helm witch would make the eagle claw scars and the shard of Beren's knife that scratch his face impossible.

I hope this was good constructive criticism I have trouble making them sound positive some times.
